Gas now in "A" Building!

Doug Bruneau, with a whole lot of help from Steve Curry, has completed the gas line in A Building. This has three significant benefits:
1) Homeowners can now have gas in their condos. This, of course, would be at their own expense.
2) The garage will bew heated by efficient gas heaters, thereby saving $$$ for the HOA (and you).
3) The gas powered back-up generator can now be installed, providing us with emergency power during Brian Head's occaisional power outages. B building is next. (8/22/01)

More Facility Improvements

We now have a horseshoe pit and several charcoal bar-b-ques located next to the grass between A and B buildings. There are also some new trees on the property. The paved parking area has been oiled. Things are looking pretty good. (8/15/01)

CARPETS IN, PAINT ON!

The Home Owners Association Board of Directors directed the installation of new carpeting throughout the common area and also the painting of the hallways in buildings A and B. It looks great. The carpeting is padded and the new padding insulates the sound of those in the hallway, according to residents. Thank you BoD. And also thanks to all the homeowners who paid their $400 special assessment in a timely manner. (9/1/00)

Natural Gas Has Come to Brian Head

Questar has brought natural gas to Brian Head. Timberbrook has converted its pool and spa heating equipment and the hot water heater for the laundry. So far, the savings have been significant. In addition, the board is considering having the garages heated by gas rather than by electricity. All of these changes will save lots of money in the long run, after the initial start up costs are paid. (7/15/00)

Facility Improvements

When you next visit Timberbrook Village, be sure to notice the new firewood enclosure at the east end of "A" building. It will keep the firewood secure and is a significant improvement in the appearance of Timberbrook Village. Perhaps most importantly, it clears enough space on the asphalt for three more parking spaces. It is just one more example of the efforts of your Board of Directors and Facility Managers Joy and Doug Bruneau to make Timberbrook Village a better place to live and visit.

PARKING RULES

When you visit Timberbrook Village this winter, please be aware that your Board of Directors has directed Facility Managers, Joy and Doug Bruneau, to strictly enforce parking regulations during holiday periods this winter season. There have been numerous incidences of "outsiders" parking in our heated garages to take advantage of the weather protection. Unfortunately, we don't have enough parking spaces to afford such a luxury to the general public.

As soon as is reasonable after you arrive, you must pick up a parking pass from Doug, Joy, or Jim and John, the rental managers, in the clubhouse. The pass must then be prominently displayed in your vehicle. We don't want to tow one of our own owners or guests, so please follow these rules. As always, you co-operation will be greatly appreciated.

Pool Operation Costs are Down

According to Doug Bruneau, our maintenance chief, the costs of operating our pool and spa complex are down significantly. This is primarily due to the conversion to natural gas, recent mechanical improvements and to close attention to chemical balances. "The efforts of our owners and guests in keeping the pool covered when not in use has also helped out a lot." says Doug.
